Lake & marsh, late summer

Mist, reflections and long evenings in the marshes and mountains close to home.

September 2024

Low mist drifting across forested hills above a calm lake that mirrors the trees and clouds

The setting sun peeking through a lone tree silhouetted over a marsh, its golden light reflected in the water

Fog rising through a steep, forested mountainside, the trees fading into white

A row of trees silhouetted against pink and purple evening clouds, mirrored in still marsh water

A winding channel through a green marsh reflecting clouds and blue sky, leading toward a mountain valley

A blazing red and orange sunset sky over a wide river with old pilings, a bridge on the far horizon

Dark, rounded mountains under heavy blue clouds tinged with pink, above a green marsh meadow with a lone tree

A twisted, sun-bleached driftwood stump on a dry sandy lakebed, with forested mountains behind

Black and white view of pale, bare tree trunks along a forest edge, mirrored perfectly in still water with a single duck
